The McBride Farm (Moretown)
Lorraine McBride and her family live on 40 acres in Moretown. After farming for 10 years in Lamoille county where they had a small diversified operation that provided food for the family and supplementary income, they are looking forward to establishing their new farm. Plans for the future include raising fiber animals, flowers, and meat for the family and for sale.
The Banevicius Farm (Moretown)
Helen lives in Moretown and raises goats, rabbits, and poultry for food and supplemental income. Her animals contribute to the amazing fertility of her bountiful vegetable and flower gardens.
The Dorfman-Kotelhuck Farm (Moretown)
Myron Dorfman and Shana Kotelchuck live in Middlesex and have an endless supply of eggs. At their recent wedding, the flowers were provided by fellow farming network members.
Agricola's Farm (Vershire)
Dawn Hancy, Phil Yacovella and Mojo Hancy-Davis call our homestead Agricola's Farm. Agricola is Latin for "farmer", bringing us back to some of our roots in the land and in culture. We raise our own vegetables and herbs, honeybees, eggs, chickens, goats, pigs and trout, make our own bread, granola, butter and yogurt and wildharvest fiddleheads, dandelions and raspberries. We plan to work the land with Sunny, a horse rescued by the Hooved Animal Sanctuary. We sell Dawn's Delight Maple Walnut Granola at LACE in Barre.
