Join The Network
If you eat food, you are a good candidate for membership in the farming network! We welcome everybody into our group without discrimination based on race, class, gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation or any type of disability. Likewise we welcome and encourage members without regard to income, or level of farming experience. Our only requirement is that every member be aligned with our mission and with the spirit and practice of nondiscrimination, inclusion, respect, cooperation, and sharing.
Our network community is comprised of approximately 40 families and individuals who want to expand opportunities for economic development and self-sufficiency for farmers, and work toward local sustainable food systems and food security for all.
All members are encouraged to donate time, share expertise, and contribute however they can to their chapter. Members volunteer to hold meetings, organize trainings, investigate possible marketing opportunities, orient new members, serve as mentors, act as equipment librarians and train other members in proper use of equipment.
The Benefits of Membership are there for all, regardless of their level of contribution to their chapter. In addition to the tangible benefits of membership, such as access to our programs, everyone who participates in any farming network activity gets plenty of encouragement and opportunity to practice communication, cooperation, and organizing and leadership skills.
Annual membership -contact chapter for up to date price before annual meeting. After 4/24 all chapters will be $15.
